ASIS NYC Security Expo

Register now to attend the ASIS NYC Security Expo on May 12, 9:00 am – 4:30 pm, the largest regional tradeshow in the industry. Registration is free, including four educational sessions, lots of time for networking, an expo offering the newest products and solutions, and a cocktail reception with free door prizes. Be sure to stop by the ASIS NYC Chapter booth, #405, and the ASIS International booth, #533.

Also plan to attend the Person of the Year luncheon, which will recognize the heroes of 9/11. Accepting awards will be NYPD Commissioner Kelly on behalf of the New York City Police Department, FDNY Commissioner Cassano for the Fire Department of the City of New York, and PAPD Superintendent Fedorko for the Port Authority Police Department. Tickets for the luncheon are $75, available online or on-site. Tables for 10 can be reserved in advance for $750.

Limited booth space (pdf) is still available for companies wishing to exhibit.

Because violence within the healthcare setting is increasing at an alarming rate, the Healthcare Security Council's Managing Disruptive Behavior and Workplace Violence in Healthcare (pdf) white paper was created to provide supporting documentation for healthcare security professionals to create and sustain a violence prevention program that will effectively reduce the potential for violence.
