Because violence within the healthcare setting is increasing at an alarming rate, the Healthcare Security Council's Managing Disruptive Behavior and Workplace Violence in Healthcare (pdf) white paper was created to provide supporting documentation for healthcare security professionals to create and sustain a violence prevention program that will effectively reduce the potential for violence.
